Designed by the architect Morris Lapidus during the early 1950’s, the facade of the Fontainebleau reflects the exuberant modernism Lapidus was known for. Today it’s referred to as Miami Modern or MiMo, a tropical take on mid-century modern.
Morel Doucet - artist
Had the pleasure of shooting Miami based artist, Morel Doucet.
Miami Beach, photography series
Art Deco architecture, palm trees and sunlight - the first 12 of an ongoing photography series in Miami. Prints are available at Society6 (click for link)
Digital manipulations up at the Shop @ Society6
I’m having a blast reinterpreting some of my photography with digital manipulations: pixelation, adding text, distorting the image, etc. Some of these would look great hanging on a wall in your home or office! 😉 Pretty good deal on Society6- an x-large 2 x 3’ print is under $50. Shop here.
Women of Arteza - social media
How to make a company culture video with eight team members while remaining safe? Zoom interviews, of course! Not my favorite way to pull together a “talking heads” video, but I guess what it lacks in polish it makes up for in authenticity. Happy International Women’s Day!
Watch Me Fall Apart
A new photography series: Watch Me Fall Apart
Luxury Air Tours of South Florida
Recently made this short sizzle for an air tour company based out of Fort Lauderdale. And also shot portraits with the pilot.
Mardi Gras/Arteza - social media
Even though it’s weird this year, you can’t cancel creativity. Here’s a video I shot with New Orleans artist Monique Lorden for Arteza.
Shop @ Society6
Trying something new and fun here- I’ve now got a shop on Society6 where you can buy prints of some of my photography. I’ve also made available (because it’s there so why not) all kinds of other ridiculous products like cutting boards, iPhone cases and fanny packs 🤓.
Safe Set covid training
Proud to report that I scored a 100% on my test 😏
Social media video for Arteza.com
Worked with the wonderful New Orleans artist and poet, Monique Lorden, to make this video.

Recent headshots
Not fully set up yet here in Miami, but am starting to test the new lighting situation. Lots of great natural light to play with here. A few visiting friends were kind enough to let me shoot them.
Variety names Top 500 Entertainment Leaders
One of my best pals was named to Variety’s list of Top 500. I shot this portrait of him using natural light, windows on two walls, no flash.
Steve Grand music video, 5 years in the making
Five years ago, Steve Grand asked Trevor LaPaglia and myself to shoot a music video with him in Palm Springs a couple of weeks before Christmas. We quickly made a video for Steve’s cover of All I Want for Christmas is You and it’s now got 2.5 million views on YouTube. So, Steve reached out to the two of us about a week ago and asked if we’d like to collaborate on a follow up or sequel to that video with his cover of I’ll Be Home for Christmas. I’m in Miami, Steve is in Chicago and Trevor is in LA, but we made it happen (with the assistance of talented local DP’s to shoot). I combined new footage with some of the old footage, to tell a bittersweet story of longing, of ex’s who miss each other, especially during this season of this weird year.
Miami portraits
Serving all kinds of Miami Vice femme fatal vibes, here’s Alice recently in Miami
3 wacky music video shoots
I neither directed nor edited these three gems, but I shot them for the fantastic artists, both based in New Orleans. Generally I don’t consider myself a cinematographer or DP, so I rarely perform just that function on a project, but I couldn’t say no these weirdos 😉
Kyle Montrel - music video
Latest music video collab with New Orleans artist Kyle Montrel for his song L.O.M.L (Love of my life)
Rocky Mountain high!
Third national park of the summer (Tetons, Yellowstone, now Rocky Mountain NP)

I’ve always enjoyed building out the GFX packages for projects.
